BTW the latest version of CPS is 2.0, though the RSS version bundled in the upgrade package was 9.05. Not sure why there was a major revision in the CPS, but maybe like Shaun said they are checking the checksum on the FLASHcode?

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

A couple of things come to mind....

The flashcode that you listed is only a partial flashcode, but it looks like the old LAPD flashcode.

Did this radio program properly before? It is possible that LAB was used on this radio (most likely) and some settings were not properly adjusted, and that the newer RSS/CPS catches them?

Perhaps in the newer CPS they added a Flashcode check, and we may start to see SP RSS(CPS) for specific customers?

You never know...

I programmed my Astro with an older rss program and everything was fine .Unfortunately when I bought a newer laptop I could not find the two disks with the old rss to put in it.I erased the programs from my older laptop before I sold it.I bought the new cps software and I came up with my present problem.
