I'm in Sydney, Australia does anyone know where i can still get spare parts for the Motorola MCS2000 such as the volume knobs and channel selector knobs and decals? Is there a refurb kit u can get and if so approx price? Cheers

Here are the part numbers you asked for:
MCS2000 channel select knob 3602100U01
volume knob 3685804A02
front housing 1502100U14
You may find these parts at your local Motorola dealer. I checked with Motorola Online and these part numbers are good.
