Astro III to Do Ham Bands?

Post by KG6GTH »

Hello All-

I have an Astro Saber III. I wanted to know if it was possible to get it to go into the Ham Bands? I am currently using RSS 9.0 to program radio.

Can anyone help???

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

As long as the rated split is close to the ham band (450-470) or 148-170ish it will program without any tricks. If your radio is a highsplit 470-512 etc) forget out it.

I have a VHF and UHF AS3 and they program without any problems

The 450-512 should stretch down without too much manipulating. Your software might :o a little but it'll go. At least it does with the CPS anyway.
