Rent R2670 or Aeroflex 2975

Post by WB4JGI »

Hey ya'll I need to know ya'lls thoughts on where to rent a R2670 or 2975 for 2 weeks. I need to check my Quantars and subscribers out and I have no local access to a P25 monitor here. The only place I can find as of now wants to lease one out for 12 months minimum. Any ideas or thoughts are appreciated thanks.

Well, I'm obviously biased as hell, but I would ask, "What is the price delta?"

If you want to do proper modulation fidelity, measure carrier frequency error while in operation, or do any protocol checking, you want my baby, not that G**D*** unit.

And by G**D*** I mean "General Dynamics".
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.

Hi Stu, I work for CTDI/Motorola repair center in Elgin IL. We do rent out R2670's by the week or by the month. Please contact Motorola customer service at (800)227-6772 for more information and let them know that Gail from Elgin told you we do rent test equipment. Thanks in advance and I hope this helps.
