What is meant by the concept of having two Astro Radios Talk to each other and how to you program the radio to do that???? any help would be appreciated.

You know your a real smart guy you know that, not every one here is a radio expert dude! remember that when you come on here and begin to disrespect people because you been doing it alot on here and its not cool buddy. So be nice and answer peoples questions in a repspectful manner dont be a jerk okay because not every one here is an expert like you are apparently so you know remember to show some repsect.

I know what that means son I just meant that is it like transmitting simplex or something like that so you know I have alot more clues up here than you will ever have son so you know when you grow up you will understand that one day and I have nothing more to say to you but remember no question on here is a dumb question not every one here is an expert and some concepts and materials on radios arent clearly explained out there and people come here to clarify stuff sometimes so if you dont have a respectful answer to give then keep your comments to yourself and let people who have a respectful answer to give share it with the rest of us on here and I know there are alot of people who will agree with me on that so grow up and act your age!

Hello.

What you need to do is decide, do you want simplex, or half duplex.
if simplex, you will need a clear channel, if no license, perhaps MURS, for VHF, or FRS, if UHF.
Then, program the radios, this is done with the software and RIB, you will find info on the main page of batlabs.

I feel that, as long as you are not causing problems, and are legal, have at it.

Allright well see the question was answered with respect and I appreciate that so finally we can put an end to this post and hopefully no more rude comments from people. I just wanted to clarify what I was told by a technician that programed my radios for me and he said " he can program the astro's to talk to each other" I didnt know what he meant because he was not clear on his statement to me and I didnt understand if it was some simplex channel he put in my two radios or what. So I dont believe my question was in any respects a stupid question at all so thanks to cowthief for giving a happy ending to this post and have a nice life to mr. shaun and mr. code3response out there and remember the bad things we do or say to people allways come back to haunt us sooner or later.

I dont know shaun are you trying to break me in on batlabs here becuase you know I am new to radio I mean humor me because it would make me feel alot better to know you really are a nice helpful guy and we can put this all behind us. But remember this you never flamed me ??? I believe I know what that means you know Im a old guy Im not familiar with these new terms and stuff. But on the lighter side I am here to learn radios its a cool hobby to get into I been a Policeman for 22 years and have been facinated with the hobby for a couple of years now but you know its all fun and games but lets not let this turn into a cage match here like the WWF or something like that we can let this post go I am up for that and play fair and answer each others future questions in repsect and fairness so I agree to that im not here to fight I can do that else where im hear to learn and have fun talking radio with people I guess that is what you are hear for and probaly as a teacher because you do know more than me about this stuff and I respect that but I dont respect you putting down my question I mean at least you could have done was ask me to rephrase it or pm me with furthure details on it because I had a point and if it didnt get across in the beginning I could have gotten it across better if asked too so what can I say I tried to ask a good question not my fault here.
