? on Secure-equipped A/S

? on Secure-equipped A/S

I just picked up my first secure-equipped A/S, yet I don't intend on using encryption in the future. Instead of monkeying with secure options on each channel would it be ok to deselect the "Secure Hardware Equipped" option on the Secure Configuration page of the CPS? Would I have to realign the radio? Thanks.
