XTS3000 Model I Programing Question

Post by Astro25 »

I programed my radio with 40 Channels Divided over Banks A,B and C and When I flashed the frequencies into the radios and for some strange reason Bank A, B, and C are all the same frequencies and the other frequencies didnt even flash into the radio accordingly. If anyone has any ideas or tip it would be appreicated.

Yup..makes a difference...when you set it up for zone select, it will allow you to change the zones. Arrange your personalities in your three zones.

Yeah I will try to redo it later but I had like 16 channels that were supposed to go into bank a , 16 channels in bank b and 10 into bank c and they are all different frequencies so it was just wierd when Bank B and C were the same as Bank A So thanks for the info ill try it later and again thanks alot for the info I appreciate it greatly.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

The best thing that you can do in programming zone enabled radios is to create a worksheet.

Make columns. I have my programming sheets setup this way:

Pers TX RX PL Name MDC sys Scan etc
1 123.345 460.444 146.2 Test 001 1
2
3
xxx

Zone 2
17
18
xxx

This way, when you create your Zone/Channel assignments, and scan lists, you cannot go wrong. Also, when you need to look at a hard copy, life it MUCH easier.
Lowband radio. The original and non-complicated wide area interoperable communications system
