Does the Astro Saber use 16 ch banks, or is it continuous

and how many channels can be scanned on the Saber II or III at once.

You can scan 15 channels per scanlist. The user manual says you can scan sixteen but I have not figured that out yet.

15 channels + selected channel = 16 :) I haven't cared to count up on my portable, but I think that should be the case. (besides why have your selector on a channel you can't listen to anyway? Kinda defeats the purpose!)
