- What radios do you own?: APX4K, XTL5K, NX5200, NX700HK
My radio follows the same format for flash-code and serial #. Hey, it even came from NYC as well- the serial number 'ABS' shows the radio manufacture month and year of September 2001.r0f wrote:I'll bet this is a Motorola 9/11 radio, that was used in NYC. They all seem to have that flashcode, and host/dsp.
You don't have to post here, but is your serial # 326ABSxxxx ?

Just like new. My radio, however, was bought from a different batlabs user.
Good radio, nonethelss. It does/did everything I needed it to- analog and digital operation, trunked and conventional.
Basic and fun!

xts3000 from N.Y.
Hi
Ok now about the radios with that DPS and frimwarethat came from N.Y. It has come to light that they had been flashed from the big M with a mismatch version that is why they will not do the 9.6k control in even caused the hardware not to work right or even to get flashed the right way. But other wise they are good radios unless you need or ever need to have the 9.6k control channle.
