Parts needed for XTS5000 II -> III?

Post by radio-link »

Hi,

when converting a XTS5000 from model II to model III, is the keyboard PCB already prepared for the number keys (and buying housing and keymat is enough), or has this PCB also to be exchanged?

Of yourse I just could open the radio, but as it is a "R" model I do not want to open it withoud any real work to be done :-) Even a picture of an opened model II radio would be enough.

Thank you, and with best regards

Ralph.
