CDM1250s that are not NB capable
Does anyone know if there were early CDM1250's (circa 2002) that are not narrowband capable? We have several that the software will not accept 12.5 KHz as a n option.

I've never seen any and have worked on CDM1250s older than that which programmed just fine using 12.5. Are you getting any errors, or is it simply not allowing you to select it?

Did you set the channel bandwidth in the software?

About a hundred here and they all do 12.5 kHz. Dozen older 1550's also.
Now I have seen where wide-band was no longer allowed, until "narrow/wide band training" is done and CPS is cleared again for it.
Whole "Entitlement ID" mess with some MotoTrbo and PR1500's that needed CPS mods.

I did the training.... it was a bit of a hassel but I got through it.. if I remember right I spoke to a rep From Moto who walked me through the procedure.. I only have 2 cdm's and 3 portables... so I needed to do it.nukedude wrote:About a hundred here and they all do 12.5 kHz. Dozen older 1550's also.

What do you mean won't accept it? Is it not in the drop down list? Have you looked at the personalities in tree mode? I've never seen it not be thereTroyfire801 wrote:Does anyone know if there were early CDM1250's (circa 2002) that are not narrowband capable?
