UHF MSF5000 frequency range

Post by oh2lak »

Hi

Will UHF 440-480 range MSF5000 tweak down to 433MHz RX and 434MHz TX? It's a CXB model, so RSS programmable.

I don't have the unit handy so I cant test yet.

Maybe.

The MSF came in two ranges: 403-435 and 435 to 475. Your freqs are just past the band edge. It will probably go, but you will have to try it.

I had a uhf Range 2 (435-475) working on 488 mhz
worked fine there so i guess it should be fine for you to run it on 433 - 434

(maybe a Rx alingment on vco voltage check will be all you require)
