I always thought all (non-astro) UHF Sabers were divided into four distinct bandsplits. There's a current auction on eBay for two System Saber II's with alleged bandsplits of 430MHz - 512MHz. Can this be accurate???

The system sabers use the same rf modules as standard sabers, so the bandsplits are the same, 400-440, 440-470, 470-490/500 or something like that. I have moved low split systmes to mid split using the modules from a standard 12 ch mid split saber.

I love listings like that. I hope everyone interested in the radios ask before bidding. Last week I got an excellent system saber for $50, so I wasn't too worried when it turned out to be low split, I can move it up for a reasonable price, but I'd have been pretty angry if I paid $200-300.

Good luck, ask questions.
