Commercial Users of 900 MHz band?
Are there any commercial operators who still use the 900 MHz band - ie the original users of Motorola's 900 MHz gear.
If commercial users have migrated to another band, who were they, why have they migrated and what band do they now use?
Thanks

There is a large regional 900MHz TRBO network being deployed in my area. Still several small private 900MHz systems up at a few hotels and manufacturing plants near me.

Our statewide electric company is using 900 mhz. It seems many electric companies all over the country are using 900 mhz. GARY

The big FedEx system ( RD-LAP ) was 800 MHz.
They did have some voice on 900 at some of the large distribution centers.

Plenty of industrial Smartnet II systems on 900 down here in Houston too that are getting upgraded to Astro25.
