I got my XTS3000 Model I programed by the local Motorola shop and my simplex channel I have programed cannot be heard by any other people that I talk with. For instance one guy has a HT1000 and I can hear him but he cannot hear me. So the other day I turned on my other XTS3000 a Model III and I can hear the Model I just fine and when I talk on the Model III my buddy can hear me on his HT1000. So my guess is that tech enabled something on the model I that I didnt want him to so any info that I can relay back to him to get this thing going would be appreciated.
Thanks!
XTS3000 Question??

Well this is strange, but I was experimenting and when I press the squelch button/monitor button on other radios that are not astro radios you can hear my transmission but when I let it go you cannot hear me at all. This only happens when I transmit on that Model I XTS3000 so it is that radio that is acting screwy but the other astro radio you can hear me fine with out pressing that button, so if any one has any pointers so I can take it back and get it corrected I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

I live in Illinois but I just noticed on the other astro radios that It has to be put in the repeater talk around mode to be heard as well and I didnt even realize before that they were set on that mode. The frequency is a simplex frequency both input/output frequencies the same no PL tone used, so maybe its an issue wit that talk around mode which has to be disabled? So I am just gonna take it back to the shop and have them figure it out till it works the way it should.
Thanks!
