MT1000 - how to find MODEL NUMBER

How do you find out what model MT1000 you have if the ID tag is unreadable? Is there away to view it in the RSS or inside the radio? I have the SER number.

ok, well the RSS does not show the Model number - field is blank in F9. Can I tell it to be a B model and make it work in the convertacom or is it a hardware problem that keeps it from working the enhanced features in the MVA?
