Icon that works only Project-25 on ASTRO-25 systems. Can't you that enable ASTRO-25 unless using system that type.

Translation for the rest of us.

That Icon only works on Project-25 or ASTRO-25 systems. You can't enable that option unless you are working on an ASTRO-25 system.

:D

So I am just a little confused, Lindsay.

When you say P25 systems, do you mean total 9600 systems, or 3600 systems as well? I've wondered about that little icon as well and how to set it up. I'm on a single site 3600 baud system. I am wondering if that it a flashcode or firmware issue, and maybe thats why I dont see how to enable it.

Ideas?

Thanks

Ok, thats too bad on the 9600 only.

How about this...

I know one group of users on a 3600 baud digital system, that can use their XTS3000 model II's to display RSSI, and I believe it is after displaying their site they are operating on.

They have a button on the side set up for site display/srch, and i believe it also gives them a relative # on the signal strength. Does this sound right to you, or is it not that simple?

Yes, that is part of the Smartzone features on any Smartzone capable radio. But, for the actual icon usage, it only works on 9600 baud systems.
