I have the duplexer (labeled triplexer) out of and old IMTS pulsar vhf phone. I was wondering if it would be possible to hook it up to two HTs for a two or three meg. split repeater for tactical law enforcement use.

Has anyone tried this before? I know people have used the Uhf models in the past but what about vhf. The duplexor sure seems SMALL to operate at vhf!

Imts stands for improved mobile radio
service. They have a freq. split of 152.Mhz and 157. Mhz. Yes in Canada we still use this service.
Keep the sep. the same spacing and yes you have a working duplexer to 50 watts output.
