What is it!? NTN 4267A looks like a remote mount head but ?

Received a box of radios from a PD and found a head type unit model NTN 4267A. It's got a volume knob, front firing speaker, red transmit LED & an On LED. Anyone know what this is for?

Just curious, so I searched Mot.com and the P/N is no longer available but is listed in with the motorcycle radio P/N's.

Probably from an older motor radio. Did the PD you got them from have motor units?

Yes they sure did/do have motors in their traffic unit. That would explain the odd looking waterproof type connector(s).
