How to remove Impala front seats

Post by 007 »

How in the H#&$ do the front seats in an Impala come out???? I am starting my install this weekend, and need to run a massive amount of cables.

Please advise!

I remember something along the lines of unbolt the rear nuts, and lift the seat out. I cant remember which car it was, but the seat had inserts that just fit into the chassis in the front, and were bolted to the chassis in the rear.

I dunnow...

Just unbolt the two bolts at the back of each seat, tilt forward, and pull rear and upward. Dont forget to take the plastic covers off the front part or the seat mounting, or snap!

Thank you...guess I never paid attention to the back of the seat rails before.
