Dark Colors

Post by jon »

Apparently some folks missed this earlier..

If you want the Darker Colors, go to your Profile and select the style "BatBlack".

Bat did some work on the templates to make it look better than it did, and it seems to work pretty well for those of you with sensitive eyes.

When I hit my back button on my browser from posts, I get the 'original' Batboard??? Other times when I hit the back button from posts, it goes to the week befores posts. Is something goofy with my browser or are all the bugs not out yet? Just asking,
Scott...

OK, I didn't mind the white screen so much but it does start to hurt the eyes after a bit. I switched over to the Batblack screen and man those colors leave me squinting!

Any way to make the colors a little more pleasant? Or maybe on the white background change it to Med or Lt gray?

on the batblack scheme, can you make the visited link color easier to see?
the red is hard to see, looks blurry to me at 1020x780. i would try to reduce the resolution on my screen but it text gets rough.
thanks for considering this.

Ok, as an experiment I changed it to a blue which better contrasts with the gray. I too noticed how horrible it looked, so we'll see if that works.

I'm still pestering Jon to install a new style... It looks JUST like the old board, which should be a welcome return for some people.

Here's a link to it, and several other styles.

Meanwhile, back to subBlue for me. I happen to like the white...

Actually -

It'll be the same system as now. It'll just be in the old boards disguise... You'll still be able to choose from batblack, subblue, and then this other design.

Jon just has to find time to implement it.

That's what I meant. I do like the features and layout of this one, I just miss the style of the old board.
