Close to completing programming but an error "MODAT&quo

Post by WorldBeFree »

I am very close to completing the programming on my xts3000

I am however getting a series of errors-

Invalid Field Window

Revert Table Channel 1 General in MODAT
Revert Table Channel 2 General in MODAT
Revert Table Channel 3 General in MODAT

This is CPS version 2.00.00

How do I fix this? any ideas?

Thanks,

WBF

I dont have CPS

But that is a common problem sometimes that we all run into, I persume you turned enable the emergency on the personality, just turn it off, or tell it that u want it to revert to that personality you are on.

What radios do you own?: X9000 thru APX

You have to set it to a valid channel/zone. There is no way around it. Chances are is was set to a channel that WAS a MODAT channel and no longer is, or you deleted that channel and/or zone. Just set it to zone 1 channel 1 or whatever channel has modat enabled.

Does it need to be trunked or can it be conv?

You can do the following.

Create 1 convnetional personality with MODAT set as the signaling option.

Open the zone/personality assignment window, assign that one personality you just created with modat as the signaling to 3 channels in a zone.

Go into the modat signaling setup.

There should be a few boxes there, point each of those references to a zone/channel.

That should fix the problem.
