I have noticed that with the flood of Astro Sabers that the overall cost has dropped if you want to purchase one.
and I was wondering what a VHF AS3 with a 512K board is worth? I think it would be cheaper to buy a dift one off ebay then to have to spend the amout to get it reflashed and a 1meg board put in.
and does anyone have a idea of what that would run? not that i need a trunked system with my conventional system
is the flooding of Astro Sabers really lowering the cost?

No, they are capitalists, who are exercising their right to get top dollar for a radio. Oh, the travesty of it all!r0f wrote:XTS3000 pricing should be about the same. Ignore any of those loons you see selling XTS3000's and ASTRO Saber's for $1200+. They're all sour babies, trying to get every last cent for the radio they invested in.
Hmm.
When did Astro_Saber get back on the board.
