Hi can someone help with the breakdown on the power supply on a SRIB?? Amp's, Polarity etc..

Hi:

I would recommend the Factory Power Supply.

The Power Supply in question is
a 0180302E27

Stancor STA-4112B

Center Pin ( minus ) Outer shell Positive

Rated 12VDC @ 300ma

Also, as mentioned in BatLabs cable info I tried a standard serial cable (PC - SRIB) on my laptop but it wont read?? The M cable works fine??

I use a standard serial cable and it works fine.

Hi:

Glad the information was helpful.

Also, with SRIB's, you should have a Well
Made cable, Shielded, and less than 6' in lenght. Any longer than that, you may enconter a timming problem between the Computer and SRIB

Most Shielded Cables with larger wire less than 6 feet should work A_OK

After I posted my last message I thought I would try a shorter cable (6inches shorter) and it worked with no problem! It's funny how you over look those small things.
