ASTRO RCH3000 Consolette Transmit Problem

Post by 26M10 »

I have an ASTRO RCH3000 Consolette that has 1 major problem.

When you key the mike the radio locks on transmit. The only way to clear the problem is to remove the AC line cord

Any ideas?

That's a bit of a wierd one. Is this a unit that has been in service a while & it just started happening? Or is it a brand new installation?

Did you purchase the entire system together, or did you piece it together yourself? The reason I ask is because you can set the RCH3000 to work with either an Astro Consolette, a Model III MCS2000, or some sort of iDENT radio. Did you receive a manual with the unit so you could check into that? Let us know,

Are you able to do other functions such as changing channels, various other button features? Before hitting the TX button, of course.
