Does anyone have a manual for one of these systems? This is the one with the seperate 6 button control panel with green and red square push butotns- not the over head "all in one" unit.
I need the procedure for changine time, date and text message on the recording. If someone has this, could you scan it and send it to :

Jim, I don't have a manual but I can give you the procedure for it. I have been doing alot of the overhead console, but the seperate one is pretty much the same.
Make sure the vcr door is open.
Hold stop, press and release play. This will bring up the main menu
Using rew and play to move cursor through the menu.
FF is your select.
when setting the title or changing the time, use the rew and play to scroll through the selection use fastforward to move to next character.
Note: when doing the time once you get your settings use FF to go all the way through until you return to the main menu. If not it will not accept the input.
When doing the title, when you get your settings the way you want it press stop and it will return to the main menu.
There are alot of things you can do with these units just like the overhead ones.
Hope this helps.
