Reprograming Remote Keyless Entry

Reprograming Remote Keyless Entry

Just wondering if anybody knew how to reprogram the remote keyless entry "clicker" for a Jeep Grand Cherokee? I changed the battery in mine and I guess it lost the code info. Brought it to Chrysler it still xmits but they want $50.00 and a full day to reprogram. Is their an easier way to reprogram / clone from my 2nd clicker?

Do a search on ebay.

Some of the auctions for spare clickers come with instructions on how to add your clicker to the computer.

Info should also be in your "Owner/Operator's Guide" for the vehicle. I got an extra key-fob opener for my Expoder and the how-to on keying it was in the manual.
