Spectra Astro DES-XL Question

Hi there,

I have a spectra with the DVP/DES OFB encryption and Multikey DVP-XL.
Options G357AA and H969AF.

I can load several DES-XL keys and select them in ASTRO mode. But when I try to select them in Analogue mode it says Illegal Key on the display. The radio will not accept a DVP-XL key from my KVL3000 but accepts DES-XL keys from my T3011DX.

Am I doing something wrong here, maybe missing some thing?

Perhaps encryption wont work in analogue?

Please put me right here as I am obviously missing the connection here.
