Syntor-X Install in a 1992 F-150 Truck...

Post by svfd1231 »

Hey folks does anything have a good install diagram or any helpful suggestions on installing a syntor-x radio into a pickup truck, 92 F150. Only problem I am having is where to place the control heads where I can get to them in a hurry. Also where to put that big bulky radio..under the seat maybe?

Back in the day when we had syntor-x's in the ambulances .We just mounted the trunk unit one the back cab wall behind the drivers seat on a piece of plywood bolted through the wall. the control head was inthe console or the brush truck had it under the center of the dash on the stock bracket.
