Hey guys, using ASTRO portable RSS 9.05, getting a "BUS DATA COLLISION ON TX ERROR" message upon hitting the com test. Is a VHF Astro Saber 3 if it makes any difference.
This is happening with two different computers.
I am using a new "ribless" program cable, and in talking with the manufacturer, he admits that although tested....the cable may have a bug. A really nice guy though, and has promised that if his cable is at fault he will send a new version or refund my money. I'll keep everyone posted about this, BTW.
If I had the RSS 9.05 manual....I could look up the error code myself, so any help with the error or a possible fix would be greatly appreciated!

I pulled out the manual for a look and could not find the error you described. My guess it is the "ribless" cable that you are using. Get the real thing and you should be up and running. Most problems seem to come up when people try to do shortcuts trying to save money on programing. I almost killed two regular sabers trying to cut corners. I hope this helps.
