Help - Wiring PAC-RT Mobile Charger MT2000

Post by Dougdeutsch »

Hi,

Recently purchased a Motorola mobile charger, PAC-RT Model
TDN9816A.

The power plug has three wires; red, black and white.

I know this is a dumb question but what is the white wire for?

Thanks in advance,

Checked on Mot.com and no luck.

But if it's like the MTVA's the third wire goes to ignition.

white wire

The white wire supplys a signal when the portable is removed from the charger to enable the pac-rt. Only works when the switch on the charger is turned on.
