Hi all,

looking at an ASTRO mobile on Ebay with a flashcode of 000001-002000-5. This indicates:
H35/G48 Conventional Operation
Q241 ASTRO Ready (Analog Operation ONLY)

My question is, what does ASTRO ready mean?

Will this radio have to be re-flashed for ASTRO digital operation (CAI IMBE), or can it be done through RSS??

Thanks for any replies.

Astro Ready means that it does not currently
support Astro operation and is an analog ONLY radio. It will need to be flashed in order to do ANY digital operation.

Or cloned...

Saying a radio is Astro Ready is like saying a car with no motor is Engine Ready. It's ready to receive an engine.
