Of course xmo was promoted, he has excellent taste in test equipment!
This is my opinion, not Aeroflex's.

I WILL NOT give you proprietary information. I make too much money to jeopardize my job.

I AM NOT the Service department: You want official info, manuals, service info, parts, calibration, etc., contact Aeroflex directly, please.

Thanks guys!

My new 2975 has arrived!

One issue though - the fan is still very noisy - this one may be even worse than the demo unit was.

Your guys said that was going to be fixed but now I'm not sure what they said the fix was. I thought it was a voltage regulator issue or some such.

I left a message for Rafael last week - but I'm still waiting for an answer.

I'm looking forward to updating the unit as you complete new versions - I love the way it can talk directly to the 'mother ship'

Is user selectable knob direction going to be a feature in the next release?

OK, just this once

Normally, I don't like talking about what is in the next release until I've signed the ECN and released the code.

But, in this special, once in a lifetime offer, I will break that rule.

Yes, the knob polarity in menus can be selected under the user setup screen (MODE 8 1) in the 1.8.0 release.

Perfect! Thanks.

Now if I just didn't need the ERR 30 dB hearing protection to work in the same room with it I'd be all set!
