What radios do you own?: Various APX series

Post by fireradio »

Hi,

I just purchased a nice Motorola desk mic for use with my MCX 1000. The model number of the mic appears to be HMN3000B-9618. Can anyone provide me with any info re: the pinouts of the mic and its connection to the MCX1000? Thanks!

WRONG MIC! that is a standard maxtrac/radius etc. microphone, the MCX uses a separate wire for PTT- , it is NOT ground, it is another conductor. See main Batlabs site for diagram. ps. the rest of the code is 1996 model year, 18th week.
