Connecting an Astro to a RCH 3000

Post by Pj »

What would it take to connect a RCH 3000 to an Astro Spectra or normal spectra (if possible). I am thinking of picking up a normal spectra in the house and would like to have two control stations (RCH 3000) and the Spectra head to control the radio. Is this possible?

As far as I know, the RCH3000 can only interface to an Astro Spectra consolette, MCS2000 Model III, and the iDEN 470. I don't know whether it's a firmware difference between the Consolette & the 'regular' Astro Spectra, but probably, if the old Spectra/DGT9000 set-up is any indication.
