Just my 2 cents, but do you remember when the MTX810 was axed, a few months later Moto came out with the MTX Classic, same thing, but it was brought back due to popular demand, at least thats what my ADM told me. I'm sure if there is enough demand from current users for new equipment (HT1000's) they might take that into consideration. Who knows what Moto wants to push, my guess is along the lines of a XTS2500 series type, or the HT PRO series. Nonetheless, there is still plenty of used equipment out there and parts will be around for a while. Don't worry the sky is not going to fall. If you need some VHF HT1000's I have some at a fair price, as well as some used UHF HT1000's.

Does anyone know where I can find the notice about MT-2000 cancelation on a Motorola Site. I need something from Big M to show to the higher up's to prove this is not another unfounded rumor.
I looked all over Motorola Online and found nothing, realy need to know as this would greatly impact our system expansion plans

So far I have read MT-2000, Not sure about MTS.
What do they expect us to use to replace the MT-2000, not the HT-750 or 1250. Have not heard anything good about them for the Fire Service. I guess there is the High end, I think XTS but at $3000.00 with accessorys and features we will never use thats not for us.
