What does that mean? Is it for over the air or local programming? Why would you improve security on local programming?

I just received my Astro CPS upgrade last week and finally opened it this morning and what a suprise.

Did anyone else get the cover letter with the Moto logo on top and the greeting line that reads

" Dear Valued Motorola Customer:"

"Thank you for your recent software purchase "BLah Blah etc
and at the end of the first paragraph it says "RVN4184F version R02.00.00, for Windows versions 3.1 or Windows 95."

Windows 3.1 ? Is this a joke or was my copy of Astro CPS the only one with this bizzare cover letter ? when was Windows 3.1 last used, wasn't it something like 6 years ago ?

Yeah I saw that too. Had to laugh, especially when they give you the mininum requirement for the computer horsepower. Could just see ordering up a new system, but install Win3.1, please...
