Quantar Timeout Timer

Post by DougH2 »

Hello,

Could anyone confirm that the timeout timer on a Quantar is based on transmitter key down time and not COR. If true, can the timer be disabled to allow use of a COR based external controller to key the PTT line?

Thank you and best regards,

Follow the help in the RSS. Generally you set it to zero.

Assistance appreciated and will pass help along.

No. You will have to buy the RSS software from a Motorola dealer.

Ah! OK Bill, slight misunderstanding - not looking for RSS, other party has bought it - meant your input to my question appreciated - problem solved.
