Well, first things first...

What's the flashcodes on the Astro Sabers you purchased? Have you checked to make sure the option hasn't been included? seems most Astro Saber purchased these days come with Modat.

If it doesn't have modat, you'll have to call motorola and purchase the flash upgrade, if they will sell it to you. Keep in mind that these can cost upwards of $1000, but I don't forsee Modat being that expensive an option.

From there, you'll need to purchase a SmartRIB, which on the used market go for $300+, usually around the $400 mark. New From motorla ~$550, if the'll let you buy one (you really never know.)

You'll also need factory cables for your radios, as well as anything else that might be required to flash and I'm just not thinking of.

All in all, you could probably sell the sabers you have now, and buy ones with the features you desire for less than flashing both radios.

Well the shop I work at is Motorola Parts and Acc. only. I do have a Motrola Programing cable and a Motorola Rib. I will have to go look see what the flash code is. If it is on the radio then I must not be looking in the right spot. My thinking was it would be where the MDC system info is. I could be wrong about that. Thanks for the help.
