The radio appeared to have been recased. I have no stickers to look for #. It is full of ham freqs and all are programmed with MODAT!!
It appears to work great, receives and transmits just fine. So, is there a way to check for any features, options, etc... without reading with RSS?
Also, I have access to version 8.5 but need help here. It establishes comm with the radio just fine. But, when I try to read it it first said checksum error
when just one bar started to form on the progress indicator. The next time it said, bus collission. This seems to me to indicate the RSS doesn't like the computer. Now, it is installed and running under 98 (I know a sin) but don't worry, I would never try to WRITE to it under these conditions. My problem is that I just don't see how to load the program on my dos machine. When looking at it in dos it doesn't show any executable commands. The only way it seemed to install was in windows. What is wrong here?Help!
