HEEELP I went and did it, now what FAIL!!

Post by mancow »

I couldn't leave good enough alone. I did get it to program once fine. I decided to change some things and went to program again.

It said FAIL 01/82

I changed a duplicated button and tried again. It then said Fail 09/10

I tried again.... :o now it's back at 01/82

The software said checksum error on the first errored write attempt. It asked to try the corrupted block again or cancel (something like that) I chose cancel.

What the hell now!!!

I'm feeling like an ass now

What radios do you own?: Radar Range

Try an original back-up unmodified CP of your radio. Burn that in and start over. If you want I'll share my 2 AS3 CPs with you if you want to try cloning. But you'll end up with my serial number and options channels etc.

Fail 09/10 means you set "secure hardware equipped" to "yes" in the radio wide screen, but have no secure hardware in the radio.

Thanks Jaymez I may hit you up on that, but for now I got it going. It's like wavetar said. I didn't have any encryption installed and tried to program it as such.

Gave me a hell of a scare though.
