out of band vhf astro spectra question

out of band vhf astro spectra question

I'm looking to buy a vhf astro spectra and need it to rx on 138mhz. the spectra is a 146-174. I know how to get around it in the rss but will the radio handle it ??

What freq, and does it need to be Astro? Narrow band or digital?

I have seen some non-Astro Spectra VHF 110w drawer units that would stay in VCO lock at 138.
