CDM Reference Oscillator

Post by GreatBambino2 »

Is there a CDM series radio (preferably the 1550) that doesn't have the power issues (shutting off, freezing, failing to power on)? I am looking at replacing the CDM1550 that I have however I don't really want to run into this issue again if I can avoid it. Is there a model number or original firmware version that would indicate an improved reference oscillator or EPPROM since those seem to be the main culprit?

Suggestions?
