Astro mobile on E-bay

Post by FR-Bob »

What would it take to get this radio going? I've worked with the ASTRO portables, but I'm new to the mobile radios. What kind of control head(s) would this radio accept? This guy sells cop cars so I tend to believe his story. Anyone here have a suitable head for sale ?

Thanks

According to the model number it would be a W9 control head. I would get the serial number and call Texas DPS and ask them if its stolen before you bid.

Something tells me power was still hooked up when the control head cable was cut, good luck to whoever bought what may be a paperweight.
