xts3000

Post by mhaynes41 »

Yep I found that out about 2 months ago on a astro saber and some one told me it had to do with older DSP/Frimware. Then got a xts3000 done the same thing. So them did some checking a few weeks ago with Motorola in IL and found out there is no way to stop it to keep from keying up after you are done using the conv channle then go to your trunk system turn off the radio and back on. The reason this happens is the radio is a mini computer so when you disable TX inhibt or go to a channle where you want to tx it remembers the last command and will do that no matter where the tx inhibt switch is set. Nothing can fix that if yu have a transmits set or take it out off inhibt mode. Motorola words are the radio was made to use not as a scanner.

Go figure.
