anyone lower the range on one of Nicks radios?

most of his are 450MHZ

has anyone that got one of his radios use the hexeditor and knock the range down to 440?

did it cause problems or was it sweet as pie?

No problem at all, follow the instructions posted previously.
I've pulled one of Nicks' radios down to HAM.
I believe that there are 8 locations where you need to change
450.000 or 450.0000 to 430.000 or 430.0000.
I can't remember which.
