made the switch to CPS

Post by dvpman »

After using dos rss for the last 5 years I have just been forced to use CPS 1.03 and don't regret doing it. So much easier to use but can't get the drag and drop feature to work yet.

Anyone else made the change and gone back to dos ?

I only use CPS when I have to, so far. Mainly because my little P-120 laptop is a little sloooow for it. If/when I upgrade, I'll probably use the CPS more often. The drag & drop has always worked for me. Make sure you watch the tutorial to make sure you're doing it right. You can only drag green fields over, not gray ones. Also, if it's a trunked radio, you require a system key to drag & drop trunking systems, personalities, etc. Lastly, if your computer is a little slow like mine, it takes several seconds for the little circle with the line through it (indicating you can't drop the info you've just dragged over) to disappear & allow you to drop the info. Good luck,

Todd
