HELP, MT2000 Error Code F01/82

Post by Dougdeutsch »

Need some help from someone familiar with programming the MT2000.

I recently purchased a used UHF MT2000. I had some problems programming it but was able to get it working as programmed. I went to make some changes when the error code F01/82 came up and the radio crashed.

I read the article about toolproofing but I am kinda lost as what to do from here. The article mentions a fail code of F01/93 but it doesn't say anything about other codes.

thank you in adavcne for any help you can provide.

Take care,

01/82 is corrupted codeplug.

Did you read the radio and save the codeplug before you made any changes? If not can you read a radio with same model and flashcode? Then clone yours.

The "toolproof" error happens on newer firmware radios when someone tries an unauthorized change of the flashcode. That error shows as Fail 01/93.
