Hello,
I have 50 trunking Spectras model T35ZXA5JE9AK that I have to reprogram. I been told that you cannot clone trunking codeplugs as you can with the MCS2000. Is this in fact true or has anyone found a workaround for this ?
Thanks in advance,
Bret

We could only clone the trunked Spectra mobiles if we used an FTR key.

You can clone trunking Spectras as long as you have the valid corresponding system keys, I've cloned many over the years. An FTR key, or LAB RSS will also do it.

Hello,
I figured it out. The syskey folder has to be in the spectra folder in order for it to allow cloning. I was using a generic syskey folder (C:MRSSSYSKEY). Once I moved it to the spectra folder things appear A OK. It is kinda strange considering MCS and MTSX work with a generic folder.
Thanks,
Bret

The Spectra RSS will allow you to put the system keys in any subdirectory ("folder") you please; you just have to tell it (in the PC Configuration screen) where they are.
