Hello i have a question about the maratrac and gm300. On the batlabs site it says that the programing cable has a 25 pin contector on one end and a rj45 on the other. I received a cable with my rib box for the gm300's that has a rj45 on both ends, and it works fine. The question is can i use the cable with the two rj45's for the Maratrac. Thanks

Hi:

The Maratrac has the Programming jack
inside ( and under ) the Top Cover of
the Radio.

You probably have a " Clone " style Rib
Box that has a Built in RJ Jack, and your
regular ( RJ to RJ ) cable should work.

I would urge " Strong " caution when using
a Clone Rib, and make sure your Rib has 2
sources of DC Power and your Computer is very
stable otherwise you may end up with a dead
radio....So be sure everything is A-OK before
Pushing ( F8 )

Reading the radio a few times generally means
everything should be OK if it completes the read process.
